The Sligo Intercultural Forum (SIF) provides space for all minority ethnic individuals and groups that live in Sligo to contribute to developing new ways of living together in peace in County Sligo. We believe that all individuals hold diverse and multiple identities, that all have rights and responsibilities and that by sharing our cultures with the mainstream Irish society we facilitate understanding and respect of all cultures.

SIF is a non-profit making and voluntary organisation whose main role is to facilitate integration, promote inter-community understanding and cross-cultural learning.

We want to see a society where humanity is the common denominator and where identity and convictions are used to celebrate togetherness, embrace diversity and contribute to creating a society where people from all cultures are welcome and valued.
